About Us

Our Aim

The Bermuda Hoops Academy was founded by Bermuda native Ethan Madeiros as a way to bring high level basketball to Bermuda. In Bermuda it is very difficult to improve at basketball and find coaches with recent experiences playing high level basketball. Bermuda Hoops Academy aims to connect young college and former college basketball players to youth players in Bermuda to foster a legacy of high level basketball in Bermuda. All trainers and employees of BHA hold SCARS and CPR certifications.

Bio

Ethan Madeiros started playing basketball at 14 years old in Bermuda. After playing for a year he got recruited to play varsity basketball at Millbrook School. In the summers he would stay in the US working with coaches and trainers to improve his skills, playing in AAU tournaments to earn a college roster spot. In his senior year he earned a roster spot at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs NY.
